Vegspec Practices (Treatments)

VegSpec uses various Practices (Treatments) to automate vegetative design technology, allowing you to prepare vegetative establishment specifications. You may click on the hot vegetative practice links below to view those that are defined in the National Handbook of Conservation Practices - NHCP.

Note: You need to have Acrobat Reader to view and print these vegetative practice definition sheets. To obtain a current version of Acrobat Reader, you may click on the "Get Acrobat" icon to download a free copy.

Using these practices you can:

• Select plants by using designed plant selection specifications based on site conditions, practice purposes, and purpose objectives.
  
• Develop planting specifications and display these specifications required for the selected practice, purpose, objectives, and plants in either a hard copy, disk copy, or file report.
  
• Modify the application's specifications in order to meet site-specific requirements.
