Planting Design - Site Specification

To enter site specification fields

1. Check applicable boxes for seed bed preparation methods.
2. Enter dates in any format for planting periods.
3. If chemical burning or killing, enter name of chemical and the chemical amount rate per acre.

To enter Using Temporary Cover

1. Choose one of the four temporary cover options.

Plant annual cover

1. Select Plant annual cover box if applicable.
2. Enter name of annual cover plant or select a plant option from the drop-down field.
3. Select an Chemical Kill, Mechanical Kill, or Harvest from the drop down Eliminate by field to determine how you will remove the annual cover.

Plant into existing cover

1. Select Plant into existing cover box if applicable.

Mulch the site with

1. Select Mulch the site with box if applicable.
2. Enter the type of mulch you will using, such as wheatstraw.
3. Enter the mulch rate per acre.

Erosion fabric type

1. Select Erosion fabric type box if applicable.
2. Enter the commercial product type you will be using.
3. Enter the erosion fabric rate per acre.

To enter Adding Soil Amendments

1. Check category.
2. Enter Type and quantity for category
3. Identify when amendments should be added by selecting from drop-down list.

To enter Planting Information

1. Complete planting information by selecting yes or no from each drop-down list.
