Enter Seeding Calculation

1. Enter the amount of acres to seed, must be an integer..
2. Select Drill or Broadcast under seeding method. If drill is selected, you can edit the drill spacing. (The default is 12 inches)
3. Select a Seeding Rate Calculation method.
4. Enter mixture % for species and tab to populate rest of fields. If only one species, the mixture % should be 100%.
5. Repeat step 4 for other plant total. Mixture % must be divided so that the sum total is exactly 100%.
6. VegSpec will compare all species in the seeding mix for compatibility with each other when the Evaluate button is pressed. Another window will open, possibly with caution statements regarding the compatibility of the various species. Pressing the Show Attributes button will open a table that lists each plant and their respective attribute highlighted in red that created the caution statement. Press the OK button to close attribute window, press the Submit button to close Evaluation Results window. User can either modify seeding design based on these cautions, or continue.
