Enter Pure Planting

To enter Pure Planting

1. Click the Pure Planting tab.
2. Select Rectangular or Square spacing.
3. Enter the number of acres for each individual plant. Acres can be a decimal.

4. Enter the User entered Rate/Acre. Minimum and maximum planting rates per acre are provided as a guide.

   Note: If a rectangular spacing was chosen, enter the Btw Row (ft), and the remaining fields are calculated.

   Note: If a square spacing was chosen, the remaining fields are calculated.

5. VegSpec will compare all species in the pure planting mix for compatibility when the Evaluate button is pressed. Another window will open, possibly with caution statements regarding the compatibility. Pressing the Show Attributes button will open a table that lists each plant and their respective attribute highlighted in red that created the caution statement. Press the OK button to close attribute window, press the Submit button to close Evaluation Results window. User can either modify seeding design based on these cautions, or continue.
