7. What if the potential plants list contains over 500 plants?Selecting a general approach can yield a long vegetative list that is too large to be easily usable. Try to be more specific in either your site description or your purposes. Be sure you have completed the soils, climate, and mlra, or plant adaptation zone information for your site. If you do not know this information, contact your local NRCS office. The NRCS url is http://www.nrcs.usda.gov Under the Objective screen, you can add additional requirements, such as selecting one or more purposes. A few general pieces of information can reduce your plant list to a meaningful selection. Note: It is recommended that you use the site specific option for a more accurate plants list.
