Climate Attributes Suboptions

The Climate Attributes Suboptions describes temperature,  precipitation and freeze date values for your site.

Entering Climate Attributes
  1. VegSpec defaults to average annual precipitation and (2 in 10 year) values low January temperatures. The precipitation value is automatically ignored when the soil is determined to be very wet. The precipitation value is automatically adjusted to a (2 in 10 year) value when the climate site is determined to be a drought prone site. A message in red print is displayed on the Site Description page when these defaults are changed.
  2. User can modify temperature and precipitation defaults from pull down lists on Climate Attributes Suboption page.
  3. User can also modify any individual value by typing desired value.
  4. Select Site Description after entering or modifying any fields.
